New Alsana Name - Same Old Castlewood Treatment Center Problems
Updated: Feb 20, 2022
Castlewood Treatment Center, in an attempt to run from multiple malpractice lawsuits and numerous allegations of misconduct from more than 75 former patients, has recently changed its corporate name to Alsana.
Nowhere in the press release for Alsana does it mention Castlewood Treatment Center. Not even once. We wouldn't want to be associated with that name either, given their sordid past and all. But do not be fooled, this is the same exact Castlewood Treatment Center Staff at the same Castlewood Treatment locations, with the addition of a few new properties in California.
What is even MORE astounding than the erasure of Castlewood Treatment Centers' two decade established brand is who they chose to lead Alsana. Nicole Siegfried is the new Clinical Director of Alsana / Castlewood Treatment Centers. The same Nicole Siegfried who was disciplined by the American Psychological Association and the state of Alabama stemming for her conduct with patients at the Magnolia Creek Center for Eating Disorders in 2013. Just look what we found on the Alabama licensee board website... Really... Really actually READ their determination. It speaks for itself, and to who this new Alsana / Castlewood leader is as a therapist and as a person......
